This Week's Best Online Deals, Coupons & Cashback Offers
- 05 Sep 2026
- By SMD
A big discount percentage is not necessarily a good deal.
What matters is the amount you pay after considering the selling price, plus any applicable coupons, bank discount, cashback, exchange benefit and additional charges.
That’s the thinking behind this week’s SearchMyDeals Deal Watch.
We’ve skipped the hundreds of items with a “70% OFF” banner and instead focused on electronics, fashion, home, beauty and lifestyle categories with a competitive price or combination of discounts that make them worth comparing.
Keep in mind that prices, stock, coupons and payment benefits are subject to change, so always check the final price before checkout.
1. Electronics: Power Banks and Audio Are Worth Checking
Small electronics continue to be one of the best categories for price comparisons as buyers can easily cross-check similar products on multiple platforms.
One example this week is the boAt Energyshroom PB401 20000mAh 22.5W Power Bank which has appeared on Amazon India for around Rs. 1,799.
Those who don’t need a 20,000 mAh power bank may find cheaper options in the 10,000 mAh segment.
Another interesting segment is true wireless audio.
The boAt Airdopes Unity ANC has appeared for around Rs. 1,299 on Croma while the Boult Z40 Pro has also appeared for a similar price.

SearchMyDeals Tip
When comparing true wireless earphones, look beyond the price – consider battery life, ANC/ENC, codecs, warranty, brand reputation and final price.
A Rs. 999 wireless earphone bundle may not be a better value proposition than a Rs. 1,299 option with better features that you will use.
Also ensure that your card, UPI provider and/or wallet does not provide an additional checkout benefit.
Deal Verdict: ★★★★☆
Worth considering if: You were planning to buy audio accessories or a power bank.

2. Fashion: Big Discounts Are Common But Be Wary
Fashion continues to be a category with deeply discounted prices across marketplaces.
As such, it’s imperative to ensure that the claimed discount is meaningful.
A Rs. 3,999 MRP product being sold at Rs. 1,299 may seem incredible, but ask yourself – does this product usually sell at or above Rs. 3,999?
Compare similar products across marketplaces as indicated by the Rs. 699-Rs. 800 range for some Asian brands and Rs. 1,500+ for branded casual footwear.
Check out our “Fashion & Lifestyle” Category for special deals and offers.
Before shopping fashion this week, ensure that:
• a coupon shows up at checkout,
• an additional app-exclusive discount is available
• a first-time customer coupon applies
• a cashback/discount from a UPI, wallet or bank reduces the final price,
• shipping charges do not inflate the final price
and
• the return policy applies to the product.
SearchMyDeals Tip
When it comes to fashion deals, the lowest price isn’t always the best value. A Rs. 799 product with simple returns may be a better value proposition than a Rs. 699 item with limited or difficult returns.
Deal Verdict: ★★★★☆
Worth considering if: You were planning to start festive season shopping in the next few weeks. Avoid being lured into last-minute shopping.
3. Home & Kitchen: Small Appliances Are Interesting
Much like fashion, home and kitchen products are also commonly discounted across platforms.
As such, it’s always a good idea to compare the selling price of similar products.
The NutriPro Juicer Mixer Grinder has appeared for around Rs. 1,599 on Amazon while the Wonderchef Luxe Multi Cook Kettle has appeared for a similar price on Vijay Sales this week. At a higher price-point, products such as air fryers and mixer grinders can also be interesting with additional bank discounts or coupons.
A Philips Air Fryer NA120/00 has appeared for around Rs. 5,000 on certain online marketplaces.

Should You Buy Now?
Only if you had planned to buy these products in the first place.
Home and kitchen appliances are typically heavily discounted during major online sales, so consider comparing prices if the purchase isn’t urgent.
Check out our “Home, Kitchen & Furniture” Category for special deals and offers.
SearchMyDeals Tip
When it comes to home and kitchen appliances, always compare final price, warranty, authorised seller, installation, delivery charges and bank-specific offers.
Saving Rs. 500 is great, but it doesn’t make much sense if you’re buying from an untrusted seller or losing the manufacturer warranty.
Deal Verdict: ★★★★☆
Worth considering if: You need a small kitchen appliance. Avoid big-ticket items unless you’re buying from a trusted seller and/or the effective price is significantly lower than what’s usually available.
4. Beauty: “Buy One Get One” Deals Are Misleading
Beauty sales are some of the most competitive in India with Nykaa, Myntra, Amazon, Purplle and individual brands vying for your business with coupons and combo offers.
Some interesting products this week include the Minimalist Oily Skincare Kit (around Rs. 808 on Nykaa) and Minimalist Glow & Protect Kit (around Rs. 988 on Nykaa). Other products to consider include the Plum Black Rice & Niacinamide-TXA Night Clarity Jelly Serum (around Rs. 269) and various products from Dot & Key in the sub-Rs. 500 range.
However, it’s important to keep a few considerations in mind while buying combo packs.
Don’t Buy A Combo Pack Just Because It Says So
Ask yourself – would I buy all the products in this combo?
If not, the “buy one get one” or “buy two get one free” is a great way to waste money. A Rs. 1,500 skincare combo that’s being sold for Rs. 999 isn’t a better deal than the single Rs. 500 product you need.
Also ensure that the quantities are comparable before trying to compare prices. A heavily discounted 15ml product isn’t a great value proposition when compared to a 30ml product at the standard price.
Check out our “Beauty & Personal Care” Category for special deals and offers.
SearchMyDeals Tip
When comparing prices of combo packs, calculate the price per quantity (e.g. per ml, per gram) to identify value.
Deal Verdict: ★★★★☆
Worth considering if: You need to replenish your existing beauty or skincare regime.
5. Lifestyle Deal Watch: The Rs. 500 - Rs. 2,000 Range
When it comes to online shopping, some of the most interesting deals are in the Rs. 500 - Rs. 2,000 range.
This week’s deal watch highlights some of the best value products and price comparisons across categories such as shoes, power banks, audio accessories, grooming, kitchen, skincare, storage and more.
In fact, this is often the range where “impulse buying” happens – Rs. 799 doesn’t seem like much, nor does Rs. 599 – but five such “small” purchases add up to several thousand rupees.
SearchMyDeals Tip
Before finalising your purchase, always remove items from your cart that you added only because they were on sale. After doing so, revisit the cart and you’ll notice that it has become cheaper than before.
The Real Deal: Stacking Discounts!
One of the biggest mistakes made by online shoppers is to assume that the sale price is the final price.
Consider the following example:
MRP: Rs. 10,000
Sale Price: Rs. 7,999
Coupon: Rs. 500 OFF
Eligible Bank Offer: Rs. 750 OFF
Cashback: Rs. 300
While the advertised discount is impressive, it’s the effective price that matters.
Depending on the coupon, bank offer and cashback, the effective price can be anywhere between Rs. 6,500 (if all three apply) to Rs. 7,999 (if none apply).
That’s why it’s important to look beyond the heavily advertised sale price and compare coupons, bank discounts, cashback and/or exchange benefits.
5 Key Ways To Compare Online Offers
1. Sale Price: Always begin with the sale price and not the crossed-out MRP.
2. Coupon: Check if a coupon applies on the product either on the product page or checkout page. Some coupons have to be manually applied.
3. Bank Offer: Check the eligible bank offers for credit cards, debit cards and EMI transactions. Always consider the minimum spends and maximum cashback/discounts.
4. Cashback: Cashback can provide an additional discount, but always check the terms and conditions. Does it come as cash, wallet credit, points, or something else? Some cashback options are only available on specific payment methods. Also ensure that there are no caps, minimum spends, tenure requirements, or restrictions on where the cashback can be used.
5. Exchange Benefit: For phones, laptops and other high-value items, always check the exchange benefits on both ends. While a Rs. 10,000 discount on an old phone may reduce the effective price, always compare the exchange value being offered by different sellers.
Cashback ≠ Instant Discount
This comparison is an important one.
Let’s say a Rs. 5,000 product has a 10% instant discount. That reduces the final price by Rs. 500.
On the other hand, a 10% cashback offer on the same Rs. 5,000 product would require you to pay Rs. 5,000 first and then give you Rs. 500 in cashback later. In addition, the cashback may be capped at a certain amount, only available for specific payment methods, require a minimum purchase, have a tenure requirement, or restrict where the cashback can be used. Always read the fine print before assuming that a cashback offer will provide the same value as an instant discount.
How SearchMyDeals Can Help You Shop Smart
Online shopping can be incredibly confusing, especially when similar products have different prices, coupons and promotions across multiple marketplaces.
That’s where SearchMyDeals comes in – we exist to help you discover and compare relevant online deals.
Instead of browsing deals on multiple websites, you can compare on SearchMyDeals and find the best price for the product you want to buy.
Find relevant deals and coupons here –
The ultimate goal is to help you spend less, not buy more – after all, nobody likes overspending, especially during the festive season.
That’s why SearchMyDeals has created a 5-point test for every deal we list. These are the questions we ask before determining if an online deal is worth your consideration:
1. Is the selling price significantly lower?
Ignore the crossed-out MRP. Always compare similar products and focus on the final sale price.
2. Can a coupon be applied?
Always check if a coupon is applicable on the product either on the product page or checkout page.
3. Is there a bank or payment-specific offer?
Check eligible bank offers, credit card/debit card offers, or EMI-specific benefits.
4. Is cashback available?
Compare cashback options across UPI, wallet, and card payment methods and ensure that the cashback is applicable as cash, wallet credit, points, etc. Also ensure that there are no caps, minimum spends, tenure requirements, or restrictions on where the cashback can be used.
5. Is there a cheaper alternative?
Never assume that one website has the “best deal”. Always compare similar products across multiple websites.
What To Expect In September
September is likely to be an exciting month for online shoppers as the festive season approaches. Amazon’s Great Indian Festival, Flipkart’s big festive sales, and competing sales from fashion, beauty and electronics marketplaces will be some of the most competitive months for online shoppers.
As such, one of the most important questions for shoppers will be – should I buy now or wait?
Our general rule of thumb would be:
If you need the product and the sale price is competitive, buy it.
If it’s an expensive discretionary purchase and there are no discounts, wait for a bigger sale.
However, keep in mind that a big sale doesn’t always mean the lowest price. Always compare prices, coupons, bank discounts, cashback, and exchange benefits before making a purchase.
This Week’s Deal Verdict
The best deals this week aren’t always obvious – the most competitive prices apply to electronics accessories while coupons are a must-buy for fashion and beauty shoppers. With India’s festive season approaching, big-ticket purchases should be carefully considered. A sale may indicate that something is cheaper, but a comparison ensures that it’s a good deal.
